Drawing of the Stern

The stern drawing was produced in an attempt to identify whether the batteries would fit into the engine hole.

The domestic batteries are shown in brown and beside them in black is the starter battery.  Opposite, in orange, is the Hurricane heater.  In the curved portion at the rear of the stern are the diesel fuel tanks.  The larger of the two is the fuel tank for the engine and the smaller holds the fuel for the Hurricane central heater.  I’ve omitted the engine from the drawing.  I’d like to write that it’s to provide simplicity to the drawing but the truth is it was too difficult to draw!  Like the drawing of the bow in my previous post, this one is also not to scale.  I suspect the engine compartment is going to be rather a crowded place once everything is installed.
