Visitors

Youngest son arrived bearing gifts in the form of a gold licence for Waiouru, electronic components for me and wool & chocolate for Jan.  We’re making the most of him having a UK postal address.  We all then went off to have a long lunch, selecting a nearby Lebanese restaurant on Edgware Road.  After lunch, the three of us returned to Waiouru for a Thames cruise planning meeting.

Mid afternoon there was a knock on the side of the boat from a couple of blog readers fellow continuous cruisers.  Ray & Diane had only recently arrived at their Rembrandt Gardens mooring in Little Venice and had wandered down Paddington Arm looking for us.

We had an interesting afternoon and early evening catching up on all sorts of boating and non boating matters.  Lovely to see them both.  A thoroughly enjoyable day.
