Bow Thruster Locker Almost Finished

Dennis has the bow thruster locker 95% complete.

The weed hatch has been fabricated and welded into place.  The top plate will be secured with 6 bolts. “C” section steel has been welded around the exterior outline of the new bulkhead hatch cover.  All Dennis now needs to do is drill the boltholes and weld the nuts to the inside of the bulkhead and the job is complete.

No hole has been made for the actual bow thruster which will be located to the right of the weed hatch as I’ve yet to determine if we will have sufficient funds to install one.

He will then make a start on the new bulkhead between the foredeck and the main cabin along with the lowered foredeck, inspection hatch and lockers.

Hi Tom and Jan.

Merry Christmas to you both and I wish you much happiness for 2012 because if anyone deserves it you both do after what you have been through. I have spent the past hour catching up on what's been happening since you got your boat back from he who will not be mentioned.
Congratulations on sticking with it and we look forward to seeing you out on the water. You have the most incredible patience. Jo xxxx

Hi Jo,

I'm guessing you are the better looking half of the crew on Hadar :-)

Thanks for the kind words although we don't see ourselves as doing anything out of the ordinary. We just have a dream and if you want it to eventuate you have to overcome all obstacles.

Merry Christmas to you and Keith and we look forward to seeing Hadar on the Cut!
