Monuments and Statues

There are a number of monuments and statues on the Hoe.

The largest is the Plymouth Navy Memorial.

The position of the monument on the Hoe and its height means it can be seen from several kilometres.

This is next monument is the RAF memorial to those who flew during WW2 and lists the total casualties but type (Bomber, Fighter, Coastal Command, Technical, Ground Staff, etc)  Notice the Ferris Wheel in the background.   Maybe I’ll take a ride some day.

Poor Drake has found out that even the great will find someone who is prepared to cr@p on them.  We know how he feels!

I decided the situation was intolerable and erased the seagull from the photo.

There is an interesting building off to the west which I must go and have a look at!
