Today I masked up the granite bench top and managed to seal the bottom edges of the remaining four pieces of glass.

Sikaflex applied and smoothed off before removing the tape above and below the adhesive. The same was done on the starboard side.
I will be quite relieved once the Sikaflex has set. It will mean for the first time we have a waterproof seal between the granite tops and the cabin walls. Tomorrow I will repair the masking tape and apply the silicone sealer to the vertical joins and the tops of the glass.
