Waiouru is for sale

Very mixed feelings about this post.  There are so many things still on the ‘bucket list’ and time is racing by.  But we are so happy cruising that this has become a very delayed decision.  We are in no hurry to sell and will continue to cruise until Waiouru’s new owner(s) take possession.

We have had a couple of assessments done and the asking price is £85,950.

I have placed a tab to the specifications on the blog main page immediately below the banner.

descriptionIf anyone is interested in buying her we can be contact by email.  Our address is immediately below the specifications tab.

I’ll take some interior photos for the next post (if I can find the enthusiasm).

Whilst this does not come as a shock having spoken to you both at Les's Memorial Service, it is still hard to see it in black and white! Someone is going to get a fantastic, well loved and well maintained boat. Good luck when you return home and, Tom, I hope you are going to document your mammoth walk for us to follow? Best wishes to you both Jennie & Chris nb Tentatrice

So sorry to read this news, Tom and Jan - obviously you have both given this much thought. We have enjoyed following your adventures while you have been cruising, and will continue to do so as you are in the last phase of your canal adventure. Perhaps you will continue to blog when you change your boat and go on to the next phase of your lives? Certainly hope so.

I picked up on a fair few hints over the winter! I for one will sorely miss your almost daily posts. Good luck with the sale and the next stage of your retirement adventure.
So pleased we managed to meet you.

We wondered why you went to Crick then turned round. All is now clear! Good luck with the reluctant sale.
We'll miss your daily blogs.

Didn't read any blogs yesterday so although not unexpected it was still nevertheless a surprise. As has been said already we have enjoyed reading your blogs and hope you will continue to blog on your next adventure in life. On the occasions we have met you over the last few years we have enjoyed your company and hope we get to see you again before you finally sell and move back home. We are heading south after Easter so hopefully we will meet up somewhere.

Sorry I'm a bit late with my reading... (blame the comprehensive system) ;-)

Quite a shock you're selling up but all good things must come to an end - I'd hoped to bump into you again when we begin our adventure... who knows, it might still happen.

I'll miss your dry witty posts AND Jan's ever growing tool collection -she'll be devastated to leave them behind!

Mark.

Another decent blogger off to pastures new, selfish I call it, I need my vicarious canal fix, this one will be missed. Permission granted I guess, good luck with the sale, I cannot think of a better sales brochure than a decent honest blog.

Take care and keep putting one foot in front of the other ......

Been away for a few days and just catching up on your blog and came across this one. I've enjoyed your blog and reading about the amount of care and attention Waiouru gets, I am certain someone will pick up a beautiful boat.
All the best Tom and Jan and here's hoping we cross paths again soon.

Unfortunately I'm not shocked or stunned at your decision...
but nevertheless I am very upset that you have decided to sell
up and, as Nev quite rightly says, 'blogger off to pastures new'

I'll certainly miss your regular jottings but wish
you and Jan all the best with you new adventures :)

Hi just googled your blog to see how cruising has been for you while we have been wintering in Spain. I had every intention of blogging Ladylock'n'lol off the cut but I didn't get 'aroundtuit'! Somehow I dropped into NZ, where I am now, and ramping up with thoughts of DolcieBlue's Canal adventure beginning June 1st! I hope your bucket list holds many dreams and you continue to share them. Maybe we'll pass as Nb's on the cut this summer. Good health and best wishes, Sarah.

Hi Sarah,

It's possible our paths might cross but we are working to a tight schedule. The blogging will continue!
